Phone 887-9250 Season over Blyth Squirt girls ball team finished a successful season after going to the “B” division championship against Wingham before losing. Joan and John Smith visited at Newmarket over the weekend to help Joan’s parents Ted and Rita Williamson celebrate their 50th anniversary. Other family mem­ bers attending were Nancy and Larry Smith, Sarah Hamilton, Rob Susie and Alisha Farrish. Barry and Carol Jacklin celebrat­ ed their 25th anniversary Saturday evening with family, friends and neighbours at the Listowel Agricul­ tural Hall. The Country Cooks were very pleased with the support they received for their supper to raise funds for the Ethel Hall renova­ tions. Over $500 was realized. Helen Dobson and Margret Mc­ Mahon attended the Women’s Institute district directors meeting at the home of Mrs. Bruce Hard­ ing, Fordwich. The regular euchre season will begin at Ethel Hall on October 1 hosted by the Hall Board. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Hayden on the birth of their new son, a welcome surprise after six girls. Bulls play Mt Forest Friday Continued from page 23 scored their third goal at 4:07. The Bulls scored their third power play goal as rookie Greg McNevan scores his first goal of the season and his fourth point of the game with assist going to Steve Vanden- dool. The Bulls completed their scoring at 9:39 as Brett Long scored from Jeff McKee. Goderich got a power play goal at 2:39 to round out the scoring. This weekend the Bulls travel to Ayton Friday night for an 8:30 game against Mount Forest. Sun­ day afternoon at 2 p.m. the Bulls host Mount Forest in Listowel arena.
