Obituaries
MARY M. ROBINSON
Mary M. Robinson of the Vera
Care Nursing Home in Hanover
died at Hanover District Hospital
on August 15. She was 88.
Born in Hullett Township on
September 17, 1901, she was the
daughter of John and Agnes
(Roberton) Grainger.
Mrs. Robinson is survived by
nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her
husband, Gordon W. Robinson.
A funeral service was held on
Friday, August 17 at the Beattie-
Falconer Funeral Home, Tasker
Chapel, Blyth, with Mr. George
Cowan officiating.
The flower bearers were Maurice
Rivers and John Jewitt.
The pallbearers were Jack Lee,
Murray Lee, Bill Lee, Bill Cowan,
Bill Wall and Russell Peckitt.
Interment in Hope Chapel Ceme
tery, Hullett Township.
GEORGE “REGINALD” BAIL
George “Reginald” Ball of
Goderich, and formerly of Clinton,
died at Clinton Public Hospital on
Sunday, August 12. He was 79.
Born in Hullett Township on
June 11, 1911, he was the son of
the late Norman and Olive (Hill)
Ball.
A retired self-employed grocer in
Clinton by profession, Mr. Ball was
a member of Ontario Street United
Church in Clinton, and he was an
Adherent to North Street United
Church in Goderich. He was also a
member of the Clinton Lions Club,
the Clinton Oddfellows Lodge No.
83 and the Clinton Masonic Lodge
No. 84.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy
(Allen) Ball, one sister Jean (Mrs.
Dougal Campbell) of Mitchell, and
by one brother, Clark Ball and his
wife Margaret of Clinton. Also
surviving are several nieces and
nephews.
Mr. Ball was predeceased by one
brother, Clarence Ball.
A funeral service was held on
Wednesday, August 15 at the Ball
Chapel of the Beattie-Falconer
Funeral Homes with Rev. Robert
Ball of North Street United Church
officiating.
The flowerbearers were Jeffrey
Ball, Danny Campbell, Mark Gla
zier and Michael Stanley.
The honorary pallbearers were
Art Colson, Carl Cox, Tom Allen,
Clayton Dixon, Jim McEwing and
Andy Rau.
The pallbearers were David Ball,
Douglas Ball, Gregory Ball, Craig
Cox, Norman Campbell and Barry
Glazier.
Interment in Clinton Cemetery.
