Bible Study will be held at the home of Jean Plaetzer, Auburn on September 13 at 1:45 p.m. Senior choir practice will be held before Church on Sunday, Sept. 9 and 16 at 10:30 a.m. Family attends picnic Mrs. Olive McGee of Mason, Michigan visited with her cousins Edythe Beacom and Laura Lyon. All attended the 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lawless at the Nottawasaga Inn, Alliston. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Fothergill and Heather attended a family picnic at the home of Jack and Marion Simpson, Wingham. WI makes hors d’oeuvres Champion tour Don’t forget the September W.I. meeting on Wednesday evening, at 8 p.m. Guest speaker is Mrs. Mary Divok who will demonstrate the making of hors d’ oeuvres. Mrs. Dorothy Logan visited with her daughter Mrs. Americo Arruda of Fergus last week. Patsy is making a good recovery at her home. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Vincent and Mrs. Dorothy Logan attended the 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Snell of Westfield on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Gordon and Margie, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Taylor spent the weekend at Lions Head. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Vincent Police report quiet holiday weekend Wingham OPP report a very quiet holiday weekend throughout the area. A spokesperson for the detach­ ment said there were no serious car accidents occurring over the last long weekend of the summer. Also in alcohol related incidents, OPP say, there were only nine seizures made and no impaired charges. and Carrie of Milton spent the holiday weekend with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Vincent.
