How did the community where you live get started? Have you tried a craft used by the early settlers? What would it be like to cook a recipe once made by the Voya- geurs? If you have wondered about any of these and are between 11 and 21 years of age, the new 4-H project “Our Heritage’’ will inter est you. In six meetings, you, along with other members of your 4-H club, will investigate your family and community “roots”, learn about our heritage from the Native people and discover what life was like in early Ontario. You will have fun organizing a “celebration” even and enjoy a visit to a “Heritage Site” in your area. “Our Heritage” is a 4-H project with a difference! It is flexible in design so leaders and members together can plan meetings of interest for their specific club. Both craft and cooking options have been included in a Members’ Supplement. Workshops are being held for leaders on Monday, Sep tember 10th (evening) and on Tuesday, September 11th (day time). For registration and more HENSALL LIVESTOCK SALES LTD.
