PAGE 29. 42nd annual Taylor reunion held Graduates as nurse On Sunday, June 24 the descen­ dants of John and Elizabeth Ingle met at “Kamadot” cottage, Port Albert, for the 42nd annual re­ union. The president Dennis Ing from Toronto welcomed the 53 members. Murray Taylor, Wing­ ham asked the blessing, followed by a moment of silence in memory of Don Mason who passed away December 1989. The usual bountiful smorgasbord dinner was greatly enjoyed. A short business meeting follow­ ed. The officers for 1991 as follows: President, John Gilmore; Vice Pre­ sident, Glen Taylor; Sec.-Treas., Doreen Taylor; Lunch Convenor, Barb Gilmore, Ada Taylor, Vera Miller; Games Convenor, Jack Hunter and Muriel Taylor. Prizes were presented to: the oldest member present - Russell Wilson, Blyth, 95 years young; the youngest, Iain Anderson, three months old, son of David and Jan Anderson, Orillia, grandson of Kay and Jack Hunter, Dorchester; the largest family present, Wayne and Karen Taylor, Auburn; a tie for the grandmother with the most grand­ children, Kay Hunter and Dorothy Pentland; coming the farthest, Ron and Vi Taylor, Victoria, B.C. Winner of the one minute race was Kevin Dutot, Brucefield. There were four different sizes of jars of jelly beans for guessing the num­ ber in each, won by Wayne Taylor and Gladys Johnston tie; second jar, Kevin Dutot and Bill Taylor, tie; third jar, Marion Cook; fourth jar, Vi Taylor. The “T” game and relay races were enjoyed, a peanut and candy scramble for the children brought the games to a close. The commit­ tee in charge of the sports were Jan Anderson, Glen and Lisa Taylor. A good time was held by all, visiting with relatives, some that hadn’t seen each other in years. MARION ELAINE TAYLOR Marion Elaine Taylor, daughter of Bill and Doreen Taylor, Rural Route One, Belgrave graduated on the Dean’s List from the Diploma Nursing Program, Fri­ day, June 8, 1990 at the Spring Convocation of Georgian Col­ lege, Barrie. Marion is a gradu- ate of F. E. Madill Secondary School, Wing ham and Wingham and District Hospital Nursing Assistant Training Centre. Marion is employed with Wing­ ham Ambulance Service and University Hospital, London in the Emergency Department.
