Effective July 3, the new location of the office will be in the rear of the North Huron Credit Union building in Wingham. It has a separate entrance off Alfred St. E. The Palliative Care Services Committee acknowledges the gen erous support of the Credit Union in making the office available. The enlarged space and permanent location will better enable the Service to meet its objective of providing active, compassionate care and companionship, free of charge, to those with life-threaten ing illnesses, and their families. Since the Service began in January, 10 clients have received support. Currently there are 19 active volunteers living throughout most of north Huron and south Bruce counties. A volunteer train ing course, scheduled for eight Tuesday evenings, beginning Sep tember 11 should fill in the few remaining communities in which no volunteer presently lives. Space is still available in the course. Anyone interested may register by calling the office. The mailing address and phone number of the office will remain unchanged: Box 1286, Wingham, Ontario, NOG 2W0, 357-2728. Of fice hours are weekdays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or by appointment.
