There were many presentations given. Members got to watch a film about ‘‘Black Creek Village”. They also thanked leaders for the use of their homes, the club executives, along with members. There was a thanks to the parents, who had run out one time or another to get a part of the ingredients. Members will be awarded with plaques and stickers for their achievements. The ‘Dining Dilemma’ was' the topic of this meeting. To the dismay of the members, they were told that they are never to eat with their elbows on the table, or make a fuss if there is an U.I. (unidentified insect) or fly in their food. The custom between brothers and sisters it to always spit melon seeds across the room at each other, but members also were informed that the proper way to remove seeds or pits from their mouths is to use either their fork, knife or napkin. After matching up dining words and their definitions, members closed the meeting and headed for Maxine’s Lunch, the local restaurant. Each practised her skills at ordering food and dining with proper etiquette. After eating, all went home, remembering to always compliment the cook. Time for travelling! Meeting 4, which was held on April 2, centered around travelling courtesy. Unfor tunately, the girls in the club were disappointed to be told that they should always take as few pieces of luggage as possible. They went over all of the rules to follow in “Trains, Planes, and Automo biles”, even buses and bicycling. When travelling, one of the most important skills is learning how to pack a suitcase properly, and some members packed a suitcase, while others were blindfolded and then sorted piles of coins. The rest of the meeting was spent discussing the party being held for meeting 6. They ended the meeting remem bering that it is an insult to allow the host to see the soles of your shoes.
