It was opened with the 4H pledge and continued with the title ‘‘Din­ ing Dilemma”. Everything from chopsticks to corn-on-the-cob was mentioned. Also discussed was paying bills with tips and the true meanings of French cuisine. Some rules for eating at another’s house, and some inter­ esting foreign customs were other fun topics. A title page was decided on with the new club name of “Stylish Socializers”. The “party” for meeting six was discussed at some length as well. On February 3, 1990 at 9:30 someone heard the sound of break­ ing glass and observed male youths standing on the cement landing of Van Dely’s Restaurant at 10, the Square Goderich, Ontario. The plate glass window in Van Dely’s had been broken causing $500 damage and the youths fled the scene. On February 1, 1990, a hole was kicked in the drywall on the south wall of the Royal Bank lobby at 158 The Square, Goderich, Ontario. This was likely caused by youths who hang around the front of the bank at night watching for someone to use a card to get in the lobby and waiting for them to leave, then going in before the door closes. The damages amounted to $200. On January 27, 1990, at 2:10 a.m. a window was broken at 244 Gibbons Street, Goderich, Ontario, when a shovel was slammed against it causing the sleeping occupant of the house to awaken. The damages amounted to $500.
