PIZZA PIZZA PIZZA Festival Singers present Spring Jubilee The Blyth Festival Singers cele brate the music of Bach and some of Canada’s best composers of choral music in their annual spring concert on Saturday, April 7 - 8 p.m. at Blyth Memorial Hall. This concert will also be featured as part of the Bach Saugeen Festival in Walkerton on April 29. Under the direction of choral director, Angus Sinclair of London Program maybe too much of good thing Continued from Page 26 had everyone on their feet by the end. The flaw’s in the show were a couple of minutes that could have been carried off a little more professionally. There were times when the flow of the program was interrupted for mike changes etc. that left a few uncomfortable gaps. Also, it was perhaps a bit too long. At two and a half hours, people certainly got their money’s worth, but I think for even the biggest country music fan it was maybe too much. However, while I am certainly •fct a convert, the afternoon was jt unenjoyable. I was entertained and admiring of the talented people I had seen that afternoon and I commend Blyth Festival for bring ing local talent to the theatre and compliment the performers on their wonderful abilities. Western Ontario residents should be proud that there are so many talented performers in their midst. You don’t have to go too far from home to see quality entertainment.
