Winning's a science Checking out Melissa Petryshen’s (far right) project which placed first in the grade seven biological division at the Grey Central Public School science fair on Thursday were fellow classmates Craig Lawrence (far left) who placed second in the physical division and Wanda Martin who was the big winner for grade sevens with her project on theenvironment. Wanda placed first in the physical class and will goon tocompeteat the Huron County Science Fair competition in Clinton on April 6-7. The grade eight winners at Grey were Darren Hemingway who will go on to Clinton and Becky Earl and Rachel Van Veen who placed first in the biological division. ‘New Kids’ in town hold meeting Many attend Belgrave euchre Sixteen tables were in play at the weekly euchre which was held in the W.I. Hall, Belgrave, Wednes­ day, March 21. Winners were: high lady, Mrs. Marie Merkley; low lady, Mrs. Ronald Coultes; novelty lady, Mrs. Garner Nicholson; second novelty lady, Mrs. Eva McGill; high man, Mrs. Jas. R. Coultes (playing as a man); low man, Mrs. Stanley Black (playing as a man); novelty man, Lewis Stonehouse; and second novelty man, Shawn Logan. There will be euchre again next Wednesday, March 28 starting at 8 p.m. Everyone is welcome.
