BLYTH PUBLIC SCHOOL UPDATE by Sarah Rouw and Melissa Kerr For the past couple of weeks, some students have been polishing up their ping-pong skills, by prac tising at recesses. All of this practice will lead to a ping-pong tournament. Two students for each grade 5 - 8, will compete at Brookside Public School. Belgrave Atoms Continued from page 20 In the second period Blyth got another one to tie it up. The rest of the second period went without any more goals. Two minutes into the third Wayne Fenton gave Belgrave the lead. Then Brian Marks, assisted by Kirk Krieger, added another marker to make it 4 - 2. With six minutes left in the game Dan Gusso scored one more making the final score 5-2 for Belgrave. Game two of the week was a hard game. These two teams have been evenly matched all year long but Huron Park had just a little more luck than Belgrave this time. Brent Robinson got a goal as did Corey Moran twice assisted by Brian Marks, but Huron Park scored four times leaving Belgrave sitting at three.
