Slippery road causes accident Poor road conditions contributed to an accident in East Wawanosh Township at 1:20 p.m. on Sunday, February 25. Seventeen-year-old Kim Edgar of RR 3, Wingham was travelling alone on Highway 86, westbound, at a speed of 60 kilometres an hour according to a report from the Wingham OPP, when she started to slide on the snowy road. In trying to control the skid, OPP stated, that Miss Edgar inadver­ tently slipped the car into reverse. She then skidded into a snowbank, striking a utility pole. Miss Edgar was transported to Wingham and District Hospital where she was treated for minimal injuries. WE’RE MOVING...
