Brussels Livestock report Good demand, steady sales at Friday sale The market at Brussels Livestock Friday met a good demand selling steady. There were 375 slaughter cattle and 249 pigs on offer. Good to choice steers sold from $87 to $90 per hundred weight. Forty-one steers consigned by Murray Forbes, RR 2, Clinton averaged 1267 lbs. sold for $90.20. Fifteen steers consigned by G. A. Stewart Farms, RR 2, Ripley averaged 1294 lbs. sold for $88.64. Twelve steers consigned by Tim Prior, RR 3, Brussels averaged 1249 lbs. sold for $88.88 to the high of $94.75. Twelve steers consigned by George Adams, RR 2, Wroxeter, averaged 1124 lbs. sold for $87.48. Sixteen steers consigned by Howard Martin, RR 3, Brussels averaged 1204 lbs. sold for $87.62. Two steers consigned by Mark and Paul Pennington, RR 2, Mildmay averaged 1265 lbs. sold for $87.57. Seven steers consigned by Allan Thornton, RR 1, Gorrie averaged 1236 lbs. sold for $87.04.
