Local Reeves head committees of Huron County Council Area reeves head three of the committees of Huron County Coun­ cil for the upcoming year. Grey Township Reeve Leona Armstrong heads the Huron Coun­ ty Museum Committee. Other members of the committee are Norm Fairies, Howick; Lossy Ful­ ler, Deputy Reeve, Exeter and Bill Bennett, Seaforth. Blyth Reeve Albert Wasson chairs the Social Services Commit­ tee. Also on the committee are Bee Cooke, Clinton; George Cantelon, Tuckersmith and Dave Johnston, Bayfield. Reeves Wasson, Cooke and Johnston along with Warden Lionel Wilder are county represen­ tatives on the Children’s Aid Society. Colborne Reeve William Van­ stone chairs the Huron County Library Board. Other members of the board are Warden Wilder, Ernie Snell of East Wawanosh; John Doherty, deputy reeve of Goderich; and appointed members James Baird, Margaret Day and Isabel Elston. The road committee will be chaired by Allan Gibson, Reeve of Ashfield. Other members of the committee are Doug Fraser, Mor­ ris; Harry Worsell, Goderich and R. W. Fisher, Zurich. Tom Tomes, Reeve of Stephen will be chairman of the Huronview Committee of Management. Other members of the committee are Tom Cunningham of Hullett, Howard Armstrong of Stanley and Cecil Cranston, West Wawanosh. Bruce Machan, Reeve of Wing­ ham chairs the Board of Health. Warden Lionel Wilder; John Rod- ges, Deputy Reeve, Goderich Township; Bill Mickle, Exeter and Provincial appointee Paul Steckle fill out the board. The Agriculture and Property Committee is chaired by Gerry Prout, Reeve of Usborne. Marie Hicknell, McKillop; Murray Keys, deputy reeve, Hay; and Gordon Workman, Brussels, are the other members. James Robinson of Hensall heads the Planning and Develop­ ment Committee with committee members being Gary Baker, De­ puty Reeve of Stephen; Brian McBurney, Turnberry; and Grant Stirling, Goderich Township. Members of the Executive Com­ mittee include Warden Wilder, Leona Armstrong, Allan Gibson, Bruce Machan, Gerry Prout, James Robinson, Tom Tomes, William Vanstone and Albert Wasson. Warden Wilder will also head the Waste Management Steering Committee. Other members are Dave Johnston, Grant Stirling, Albert Wasson, John Doherty, Leona Armstrong and Tom Tomes, as well as three representatives from the Ministry of the Environ­ ment (two of them voting mem­ bers), County Clerk-Administrator Nigel Bellchamber, County Engi­ neer Dennis Merrall and Dr. Gary Davidson, Director of Planning and Development.
