Cadet Corps needs recruits Continued from page 2 stimulate the interest of youth in the Sea, Land or Air elements of the Canadian Forces. Cadets start at a training level called Green Star. Each year, depending on their achievements they proceed from Green Star to Red Star, Red to Silver and Silver to Gold Star. Each level is more difficult and challenging. There is no cost for uniforms or training. Cadets can attend summer camps and military training areas throughout Canada and receive an Honourarium of $240.00 for suc cessful completion of the six week camp. Weekly parades are held each Tuesday at the Legion hall where drills and theory training are carried out. The Corps also participates in community and service projects such as parking cars at town functions, selling poppies, clean ups, and Legion services. The 2967 Brussels Cadet Corps has the Royal Canadian Regiment (R.C.R.) 4th Battalion as its affili ated unit. After more than 10 years of operation it is a pity to see this corps disbanded. However, due to declining enrolment there is a very real danger of this happening. Anyone who would like to join the Corps or who knows of anyone who wishes to join can contact the Brussels Legion for details. The Corps is not only open to those living in Brussels, teenagers in other towns and villages are also welcome to join. Business and Professional Directory Henry F.
