The treasurer reported $107 on hand
after the Sunday School helps being
ordered for 1st. quarter. It was decid-
ed to give $70.00 for missions, and a
special offering taken at the children's
Christmas Service on December 16th,
for White gift service which will be
during the regular church service.
A children's choir will take part in
the service. The meeting closed with
prayer by the Superintendent.

their farm to Roy Simmons and are
moving to the village into the home
they recently bought from Mr. Amos
Denny. Friends and neighbors gath-

The members of the Mission Band
held their Christmas meeting in the
church school room on Sunday after-
noon with 28 present. The meeting
opened by repeating the members'
purpose followed with prayer by Mrs.
Chas. Smith. Scripture lesson was
read from Luke 4-20 verse by Doreen
Howett, solo by Betty Blair. Readings
were given by 'Lyle Smith, Bobby
Cook, Carman Vint; and. John Mc-
Dowell. The Study Book was taken by
Mrs. Norman McDowell, and a Christ-
mas , story was told by Mrs. Chas,
Smith, Prayer by Gwen McDowell,
The new member elected for office
were President, Carman Vint, 'vice-
president, Dolores Bell; Sec'y., Gwen
McDowell; Assistant, Doreen How-
att; Treaurer, Donna Walden; Assist-
ant, Betty Blair. The closing hymn
was "Away in A Manger". Prayer by
