ONTARIO BUYS PRIZE WINNING STOCK The young Large White boar, "Soli- hull Field Marshall 45th" was recent- ly placed first in his class at the Royal Show in England. This word was received by W. P. Watson, Live- stock. Commissioner for the Ontario Department of Agriculture, who pur- chased him while on a trip to the Old Country in the spring. Mr. Wat- son also pointed out that the boar's sire was Supreme Champion of the Show this year, and that his grand- sire was Grand Champion at last year's Royal Show. Solihull Field Marshall 45th will be stationed at the Ontario Agricultural College when he arrives' sometime in October. Another interesting fact, states Mr, Watson, is that a full sister to one of the gilts purchased at this time was Grand Champion at the Royal, and these gilts were sired by a boar that sold at the Manitoba Flood Relief Sale at Brandon last fall, These ani- mals are from the Dearnnley held in Lincolnshire. 1114WS OF .13h,LMOIRE BeImore Women's Institute Entertains Beigrave Guests Driving is a privilege, not a right.
