W. M. S. Entertain Mission Band
"Remember now thy Creator in the
days of Thy Youth," was the theme
;of the July meeting of the Women's
Missionary Society of the United
Church, on Friday afternoon, when
they met in the church school room.
Second vice-president, Mrs. D. S. Mac-
Naughton, presided and the minutes
were read by Mrs. Munro, secretary.
1 The meeting was arranged by Mrs.
,Munro and Mrs. Harvey Timm, the
former read the Scripture lesson and
;the latter led in prayer. Guests in-
Icluded members of the Buds of Prom-
ise Mission Band and their mothers.
:Mrs. Johnton, leader of the Mission
Band at ,Bittevale ViliTed Church was
'present and spoke briefly. Marjorio a and Marilyn Timm sang a duct,
"Jesus wants Me for a Sunbeam." I it

members of the Women's Institute to
visit the Huron Museum next week.

Lions Plan Annual Frolic
Thursday, August 2nd., is the date
set for the Annual Howiek Lions Club
Frolic, Committees are hard at work
to make it the best yet, Some of the
