ed his parents of his safe arrival here,
Donald enjoyed the trip immensely.
The St. James' Women's Guild will
hold their July meeting in the
church basement on the afternoon of
the 11th. A good. attendance is re-
quested as the afternoon will be
spent in .quilting.

St. James' Service,
Service was resumed in St. James'
Anglican. Church on Sunday at the
regular hour of four o'clock. Rev,
Douglas Vogan, who has been on
holidays, was in ',Charge. Baptismal
service was held and Leigh Ann,
daughter of Mr. and 'Mrs. Boy Drap-
lier, of Toronto, was received into the
church. Godparents were Mrs. Gladys,
Yates of Toronto and Mr, David
Draper, aunt and uncle of the child,

A large number of neighbors and
friends gathered recently in the
town hail in honor of Mr. and Mrs,
George H. Gibson (nee Edythe Weir)
who were recently married. Dain•ng
was enjoyed to the excellent music
of the Fordwich orchestra. Leslie
Douglas read an address and on be-
half of the people of the community
a gift of money as well as other mis-
cellaneous gifts was presented. Mr.
and Mrs. Gibson expressed their deep
appreciation for the gifts and to those
I who arranged the party in their honor.
On 'Inesday evening last the Edgar
cousins, numbering 25 held a party at
the home of the bride and groom.
Games and contests were enjoyed.
