Referring to the as- sistance which had been given by various members of the club he spoke in glowing words of the valued assist- ance of Gordon Godkin, Gordon Mac- Kay and Bill Bain, who have looked after the rink and the ice. Dr. Irwin, the secretary, read the minutes of the last annual meeting and R. R. Hobden spoke for the roof committee, asking that each member contribute to the special fund for this purpose. Wingham Rinks Have Taken Prizes Dr. W. A. Beecroft asked for a moment's silence in memory of the late Harry Diment, who passed kway duringsthe year and who was an able and enthusiastic curler. Then he enumerated the prizes which had been won in other towns by rinks from Wingham and spoke of the out- standing success the local men had achieved in their journeys away from home. He said that Wingham is on.' of the luckiest communities in Ont- ario, having installed artificial ice plants in both curling and skating arenas while the equipment was stilt available. Mayor W. W.
