REDY1EN TAKE
SECOND FIXTURE
Durham Redinen. shaded the Stain-
ton Spitfires here Friday night 7-6 in
the second game of their finals for
the Intermediate "A" W.O.A.A. title.
Veteran CT Proctor tallied what prov-
ed to be the winning goal at 9.14 mark

with the outstanding work of Strong
in the visitors net keeping the score
down, Westlake scored at the 18.54
mark to put the Spitfires striking
distance.

final period, the Durhamites staged
an attack which saw the Wing-
ham bastire fall to pieces as - four
goals lodged behind Purola within the
first five minutes of play. With their
backs to the wall, after this stinging
barrage the Spits had to make an up-
ward climb which fell short of the
mark by one goal.
