A very pleasant• afternoon was
spent last Thursday when the W,
ladies met for their March meeting.
St, Patrick's decorations macho the tea
table very attractive. The following
programme was enjoyed after the
business part was disposed of, Mrs.
Ross Hamilton sang two lovely Irish
songs, "Danny Boy" and "That's An
Irish Lullaby", which were much en-
joyed by all present she was accomp,
anted by Mr. Harold V. Pym at the
piano. Mr. W. T. Cruickshank gave a
worthwhile talk on radio and his
work since starting 25 years ago, and
we hope to hear him again in the not
too distant future, Current events
were given by Mrs, Wm, Ford on
Cancer Research and Civil Defence, A
interesting meeting was brought to a
close by enjoying a social half hour.
