Members of the Women's Associa-
lion of Salem United Church met in
the church schoolroom on Thursday,
14th for theirannual meet-
ings Reports given by the different
committees showed a year of Progress.
The president, Mrs, Joseph Simmonds
presided and opened the meeting with
the carol, "It came upon a midnight
clear," Mrs. William Taylor read a
psalm. Minutes were taken by the
secretary, Mrs. Charles Cathers. Mrs,
William Taylor presided for the elec-
tion of officers as follows, President,
