UCW holds family night
The Knox U.C.W. family night
was held on February 21 with a
good attendance. Grace was said
by Gary Shuttleworth and a
generous pot luck dinner was
enjoyed by everyone.
The junior choir opened the
program with two songs, "I love
Jesus" and "I want to pass it on."
A recitation by Tammy Middle-
kamp followed and then little
brother Josh echoed it.
Bernice Gross and Margo
Middlecamp conducted a number
of games and contests and the
winners were Ruerd Koopman, Val
McPhee, Nicole•Middlecamp, Bar-
ry Millian, Leanne Vincent, Mrs.
Dalton, Ernie Durnin, Sherry
Kryzanowski, Roger Cunning-
ham, Susan Dobie, Yanny Koop-
man and Melissa Hanna.

speech on "Drinking and Driv-
ing". Shelley Dobie favoured with
a piano solo and Sherry Kryzanow-

Karen Webster introduced Miss
Maria Dalton of Kingsbridge who

orphanage where there was one
doctor to 50 babies. She was also at
"The Home for the Dying". She
told about a Canadian Missionary
with a home for 100 boys from 8 to
25 years and showed pictures of the
work accomplished there. She
made those present realize the
poverty that there is in Haiti. Miss
Dalton is planning on a trip back to
Haiti in July.
Margo Middlecamp thanked
Miss Dalton for her excellent
pictures and speech. Gary Shuttle-
worth closed the evening with a
hearty thanks to the U.C.W.
