MAC ENGEL The Annual Congregational meeting of Knox Presbyterian Churc.hwasheldon Wednesday evening, January 29. It was preceded by a pot luck supper when 36 enjoyed the usual abun­ dance of food. Rev. Donald McInnis president opened the meeting with a film, “The Prodigal Son’’ andabrief message and prayer. The minutes of the last meeting were read by the secretary, Mrs. Stuart Stevenson. The printed reports had been handed out and were adopted as printed. The following were re-elected to the Board of Managers: Jim Hart, Lloyd Smith and Stewart Steiss. Trustees are John A. Perrieand Leslie Knight. Organist is Mrs. Stewart Steiss and secretary­ treasurer Mrs. Stuart Stevenson. The manse committee is the chairman of the Board of Mana­ gers, Jack Knight, Mrs. Leslie Knight and Mrs. Clare Veitch. Mrs. Larry Smith returned home on Wednesday, January 29 follow­ ing surgery and a ten day stay in Victoria Hospital, London. Mr. and Mrs. John Vanass and family visited friends in Wartburg on Sunday. Seventeen tables played at the Forester’s card party on January 31. Following were winners: high, Lois Hart, Frank McKenzie; low, ihelma Cotton, Keith Turnbull; lone hands, Gordon Murray, Kathy Bridge; at lucky tables, Dorothy Dilworth, Merle Bowes, Jim Cooper, Jim Bridge.
