Si e was a registered nurse in Goderich, Woodstock and Clinton and a member of the United Church of Canada and the Blue- Margaret piano. Mrs. William Coultes introduc­ ed theguest speaker Dr. J. McKim of London who originated a Medical Elective program which enables final year medical stu­ dents to serve three months in Third World Countries. This pro­ gram is funded in part by the U.C.W s of London Conference. Dr. McKim introduced Joe Lee a erich. Rev John Roberts conducted the installation of officers for 1986 and Mrs. Roberts welcomed Mrs. Harold Vincent the new president or 1986. Rev. Roberts closed the meeting with the Benediction. She was the wife ot Murray McDowell and mother of Heather McDowell of Toronto. A:so surviving is a brother, Clifton Walsh of RR 4 Brussels. After resting in the Hughes F meral Home, Cookstown, the remains were moved to Cookstown United Church on Monday, Feb­ ruary 3, followed by cremation.
