Mrs. W. J. Johnston led the worship service opening with the hymn "Glory to God, for His Sun- shine- is Free." Patsy Taylor received the offering and birthday greetings were sung for Susan Sellers. Miss Margaret Curtis told the story of two Chinese children that had been taken prisoners and put into a cave. They were able to make their escape through courage and trust in God. Bride and Groom Honoured Hugh Campbell and his bride, the former Miss Mary Bradshaw, have moved into the Kerney house recently vacated by Mr, and Mrs. Riley and family, who have moved to Wingham, Mr. and Mrs. Campbell were the. guests of honor at a largely attended :social gathering in the Community Hall on Friday night, when Billy Ad- ams read an address and a presenta- tion was made followed by lunch and dancing. The Mission Band met on Sunday afternoon in . the school room with a fair attendance. The. meeting Ipened by repeating the members purpose. The scripture lesson was read by Lois Campbell, from Luke 10, 29-37. Read- ings were given by John Buchanan .and Donna Walden. The Study Book was given by Mrs. Chas. Smith. The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. The roll was called. The story was told by Mrs Norman McDowell. The meeting closed with the benediction.
