Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Scott, who
have been holidaying with her mother,
Mrs. Will Conn and other Kinloss rel-
atives, left on Monday for their home
at Peterborough.
Mr, and Mrs. Gordon Scott of Rip-
ley, spent Sunday with her father, Mr.
Thos. Hill and little George Conn re-
turned home with them for a visit.
Mr. George Thompson of Goderich,
spent last week at the home of his
uncle, Mr. Lorne Johnston.
Miss Matilda Alexander spent a
few days last week at the homes of
Mr. Clifford and Mr. Ross Murray of
Mr. and Mrs. Victor Casemore and
West Wawanosh.
Mrs. Albert Taylor and Eleanor of
Windsor, also Mr. annd Mrs. Jas,
Morrison and son, Gary, of Toronto,
have been visiting with their parents,
Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Morrison, Jerry
Forsythe of Wingham, also spent the
week-end there.
Mr. Donald Watt returned to his
position in Western Hospital, Toronto,
on Tuesday last, after spending his
holidays with his Qarents, Rev. and
Mrs. W. J. Watt.
Leo and Raymond Stead. Of New-
bury, spent the week-end at the home
of Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Morrison.
Mr. Angus and Mr. Jack Gordon,
and their sister, Mrs. Duncan, Ray-
mond and Billie, who were here for
the Teeswater Reunion left on Tues-
day for their home in Broderick, Sask.
Mr. Oliver McBrien .and his daugh-
ter, Mrs. McLeod and baby, Barbara
Ellen and Bobby Straughan, all of
Goderich, visited on Sunday at the.
home of Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Laidlaw.
Mr, and Mrs, Leslie Wightman and
daughters, spent Sunday at the home
of his sister, Mrs. Alex Young of Lu-
can.

spent Sunday at Kitchener, where the
latter couple are making- their home.
Mr. Siebert is employed with the Kres-
ge Company there.
Mr. and Mrs. Herson Irwin and
family, spent Sunday with Mr. and
Mrs. Edwin Irwin of Goderich.
Mr. Elmer Shiell of London, spent
the week-end with his parents, Mr.
and Mrs. G. M. Shiell.

The funeral of Mrs/. Mary Has-
kins from Macintosh church was
largely attended, many coming from
a distance,
Mrs. James McNeil is in Walker-
ton Hospital.
Mrs. Peter Hakney is still quite
poorly.
Mrs. Wm. Edwards spent a few days
at her home here.
Rev. and Mrs. Martin are holiday-
ing at Sudbury.
There will be no service in the Pres-
byterian Church. Rev. and Mrs, Jor-
gensen are visiting in Chicago.
Misses Edith, Donna and Sylvia
Reid, are visiting with their aunt in
Wingham. '
Mrs. George Fisher called on friends
in the village on Friday.
Baptisms at McIntosh Church on
Sunday, July 24th, were: Harvey John
Darling, Lois Elizabeth. Ferguson,
Ronald Leslie Harkness, Cheryl Eliza-
beth Haskins, George Howard Wright,
Allan Blaine Wylie, Eleanor Diane
Wylie.
Mr. and Mrs. James McNeil, Mr.
and Mrs. Lloyd McNeil visited at the
McNeil home.
Mr. and Mrs. Badger and Mrs.
Badger's mother of Toronto, at James
Austins.
Those spending Sunday with friends
were: Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Jeffray,
Mr. and Mrs, Robt, Jeffray, Arnold
Jeffray and family at Wilfred Weitz's,
Clifford.
Mr, and Mrs. Jas. Darling, Jimmie,
and Charles and Miss Minnie Jeffray,
spent Sunday with Mr. arid Mrs. Oer-
shorn Johnston, E. Wawanosh,
Mrs. Richard Jeffray left for the
West on a visit Tuesday morning,
Mrs. George Whitmore visited ;n the
village on Tuesday evening and Wed-
nesday.
Jimmie Marshall of Stratford, is
holidaying with his cousins, Peter and.
John Newans.
Mrs. Johann and family spent the
day in Teeswater, with the Stewart
family.
Mr, and Mrs, Zinn and Mr. and
Mrs, Alan Darling, visited the Hutch-
ison family at Harriston on Sunday
afternoon.
Charlie Aitwken visited with friends
around the village for a few days.
Alan Darling is busy re-bitilding his
granary and barn wall.
