iel Watt who had been spending her
holidays there also, returned to Vie-
toria Hospital to resume her duties
on Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Spading, and
Marie of Wingham. spent Sunday
with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thos.
Moore.
Air, Mac MacGregor of Exeter,
spent the week-end at his home here.
Rev. and Airs, Robert Watt and
children have arrived home from tlie
West. Mr, Watt had been stationed
at Carstairs, Manitoba for two years,
and is now taking over the Gorrie
charge of the United Church, and his
Induction service is being held there.
this Thursday evening. Rev. W. J.
Watt had charge of the service there
on Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Kelly and their
family, and Mr„McAllister. of Goder-
ich, visited on Sunday with the for-
mer's grandmother, Mrs. Jas. Cornel-
ius, and Mrs. Peterson and son, Alvin,
of Shelbourne and. Mr. Jos. Cornelius
of Orangeville, spent a few days there
last week. Many will be interested to
know that Mr. Frank Vanner, former-
ly of \\Ingham, has been a patient in
Victoria Hospital, London, for some
months.
Mrs, IL Sinnamon of Wingham,
spent Tuesday last at the home of her
daughter, Mrs. Ernest Beecroft, and
Hugh Sinnamon spent' a few days
there also.
`Mr. and Mrs. Alex Nethery of
Hamilton, spent the week-end with
her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herson Ir-
win, and Mr. Gibson Armstrong. also
visited there, and Mrs. Armstrong re-
turned home with him to London on
Sunday.
Miss Helen Thompson, District
Health Nurse, of Windsor, is visiting
with her parents, Mr, and Mrs. Frank
Thompson of E. Wawanosh.

ester of E. Wawanosh,) a son.
Mr. and Mrs. Will McClenag,han of
Tock Creek, Ohio, have been spending
the week-end at the home of his bro-
thers, George and Ben AfcClenaghan,
and with Air. Harry McClenaghan of
Belgrave. and with his sister, Mrs.
Herbert Laidlaw.
Mr. and Airs. Melvin McClenaghan
of Kitchener, and Miss Faye AlcClen-
aghan and Betty Parker of London,
spent the week-end with their parents,
Mr, and Mrs. Ben McClenaghan and
Betty Parker stayed here for a longer
visit.
Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Henderson
and family of Brantford, spent the
week-end at the home of his aunt,
Mrs. Wm. Dawson.
Miss Mildred McClenaghan finished
her Business Course at Goderich
Commercial School last week, and is
holidaying at her home here.
Mr. and Mrs, Cameron Simmons
and Nancy, of London. spent the
week-end with relatives here.
Mr. Nelson McCartney of Dunning,
spent the week-end here with his sis-
ter, Mrs. Annie Henderson, at the
home of Miss Christena Laidlaw. who
j has been very low during the past
week,

their home at Conniston, in Northern

eitis in Wingham General Hospital. on
Wednesday and returned to his home

from visiting her daughter in Bel-
wood on Wednesday,
Mr, and Mrs, Jack Ryan and Leroy,
spent Sunday with her parents, Mr,
and Mrs. James Johnston, Goderich,
and Aid Johnston is showing. improve-
ment in . his condition.
Mrs, Fred Newman and Mrs. John
Burehill will be hostesses at the reg-
ular monthly meeting of the Women's

return home from Toronto Hospital.

Scholtz has been a patient in Wing-
ham Hospital for two weeks.

erford, spent Stinday with their par-
ents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Lott, and
Air. and Mrs. Roy MacKay of Brus-
sels also visited there on Thursday.
Rev. and Mrs. W. S. Sutherland at-
tended the Presbytery meeting at
Cranbrook on Tuesday evening last,
Miss Margaret Cook of Belfast, has
been working in Johnston's store dur-
ing the past week. while Mr. and Mrs.
Johnston were holidaying in the North.

mily of Toronto. were Sunday visitors
with Mr, and Mrs. Stuart Chamney.
Joan and Gerald Doerr of Niagara
Falls, are holidaying with relatives in
this vicinity.
Sgt, and Mrs. Herb. Dainty and
sons of Camp Borden, visited with her
parents, Air. and Mrs. J. C. Robinson,
before leaving on a motor trip to Wes-
tern Canada.
Mrs, Alice Robb and Mr. Roy Mc-
Kenzie of Lucknow, were Sunday visi-
tors with Mr. and Mrs. John R.
Thompson.
We are sorry to report that Mrs.
Jefferson, sr., has not regained her
strength since suffering an attack of
shingles several weeks ago, which left
her in a weakened condition, Her sis-
ter. Mrs. Hinglernan of Guelph, is vis-
iting her and during the week other
members of the family were home in-
cluding, Mr. Joe Jefferson and three
sons of Fort William; Gordon of Ow-
en Sound, and Sam of Newmarket, On
Sunday all twelve members of her fam-
ily were home together for the first
time in over twenty years.
Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Robinson and
Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Robinson and
Russel of Wingham, were London vis-
itors on Sunilay with Mr. and Airs.
