Mrs. C. Bates and Barbara of
Detroit, who spent the past week with
her mother, Mrs. Frank Angus re-
turned home on Sunday with Mr. Bat-

Mr. and Mrs. John Champion and
Panzie and Mrs. Chas. Blatchford and
Gwen, were in Toronto last week
completing arrangements for the two
girls to enter Mothercraft training in
August.
Mr. and Mrs. Ed. McGuire of Win-
nipeg, visited with Mr. and Mrs. J.
A. Wilson and renewed acquaintances
in Wingham last week-end. It is thir-
ty-one years since they last visited in
Wingham.
Mr. and Mrs. Donald Cameron and
children of MacDonald's Corners, and
Mrs. John MacDougal and Miss Mar-
garet MacDougal of Lanark. spent a
few days with Mr, and Mrs. L. A.
MacDougal.
Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Taylor and
family of Hamilton and Eric Cone of
Burlington, spent the week-end at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Tay-
lor and the Taylor families gathered
for a picnic at Poplar Beach on Sun-
day.
J. M, Christie of Toronto, spent the
holiday week-end with Mr. and Mrs.
W. B. McCool and Mrs. J. H. Chris-
tie. Mrs. Christie and son, Graeme, re-
turned home, after spending a week.
