tation, The World's Bible," by Jim
Howson.
Mr. K. J. Browne of London, was
guest speaker, taking as his subject,
the partible of the loaves and fishes or
"A Boy and his Lunch." He told very
vividly the story of the boy with his
small lunch and how it was used by
Jesus to feed so many people. He
explained that the five cakes of bread
might each represent a letter: B for
brotherliness, R for respect, E for
example, A for assistance and D for
duty. All of these are virtues which
children should follow. Mr. Browne
said that this parable was important,
it being the only one which is men-
tioned in the whole four gospels.
The offering,amounting to $143.83,
was all given to the Overseas Relief.
