Rev. E. H. Bean of Dalhousie, New
Brunswick, Commissioner to the Gen-
eral Assembly of the Presbyterian
Church in Canada, meeting at Kitch-
ener, spent the week-end with ,Rev.
Leland C. and Mrs: Jorgensen .at the
manse, and preached in Knox Presby-
terian Chur,Qh on Sunday morning.
Mr. and Mrs, Jack Wickstead and
Mrs. George .Thornton, spent a few
days with Mr. and Mrs. Neil Mac-

her cousins, Mrs. Garniss and Miss

Miss Helen Mowbray of Lucknow,
daughter of Alex and the late Sirs.
Mowbray, former residents of Blue-
vale, was among the graduates at the
Stratford General Hospital, this week.

Miss Norma McMinn of Toronto,
was a holiday visitor with her father,
and sister, Mrs. Lillow and Arnold,
Mr, and Mrs. A, J, Barry, Sarnia,
and George Thomson, Toronto, were
holiday visitors with their parents,
Mr. and Mrs, George T, Thomson,
Mr. and Mrs, R. E. McKinney spent
the week-end in Toronto and were
guests at the Redpath-Young wedding
in Humbererest United ,Church, on
Friday evening.
Miss Joyce Black, Toronto, accomp-
anied by her friend, spent the week-
end with her sister, Mrs, Sellers and
Elmer.

tore message was read by Mrs. Ray-
mond Elliott, Discussion on the sup-
ply allocation of money, quilts and
clothing- was the main item of ,busi-
ness. Donations to be left with Mrs.
McKinney not later than June 15th.
Reports from the W.M.S. synodical
meeting at Goderich and tile annual

presented by the delegates, Mrs, L, C,
Jorgensen and Mrs. Walter Smillie

welcomed after being a patient in Vic-
toria Hospital, London, for two weeks.

Ladies Aid of Knob. Presbyterian
Church was held this week, The presi-
dent, Mrs. Roy Turvey presided. The
devotional period was conducted by
Mrs. P. S. McZwen and Mrs. W. H,
McKinney. Encouraging reports were
beard from the Morris Group showing
that over $35.00 had been raised and
the Triple Group raised $20.60. The,
society have $50.00 on hand after fin-
ancing the decorating of the 'manse
kitchen and ,piitting linoleum. on the
floor,All repeated the Lord's 'Prayer
in closing.
