Hospital, on Thursday, March 31st,

Sparling will be glad to know that
she was able to return from Listowel
Hospital last Wednesday,
Mr, Mervyn Stephens of Thorn-
dale is in town this week. Little Eve-
lyn Ann Stephens is spending • some
time with her aunt, Mrs. Ward Faw-
cett, ,Chatham.
Lorne King of Strathroy was home
for the holiday. Miss Marie Johnston
of Listowel. also visited at the home
of her grandfather. Mr. Steve King.
Ray Adams, con. 4, fell down the
barn stairway on Wednesday. X-rays
showed that he had broken his left
arm in the same place as it was brok-
en about a year ago. He was able to
return to school on Thursday.
Mr, and Mrs. Geo. Dane and Miss
Ruby Taylor were guests on Easter
Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Ir-
win, Ripley.
Mrs. Robert Earl had the misfor-
tune to fall last week and break her
hip at the home of her daughter, Mrs.
Chas. Finlay. Her condition at the
present time is very serious and did
not permit her being taken to the hos-
pital.

Reception and Communion Service in
the United Church on Sunday morn-
ing. Those received into .membership
