ing committee to bring in the slate of
officers at the next meeting. It was
announced that. the District Annual
meeting would be held early in June.

presented their play, "Busy as a Bea-
ver" under the auspices of the W.A.
of the 'United Church, in the Hall on
Wednesday night. The play was Well
preiented and much enjoyed by those
present. Between the acts, Miss Gwen
Stewart of Lucknow sang and Isobel
McPherson favoured with Scotch
Dancing.
Mrs. Jack Berndt, Messrs. Gordon
and Frank Berndt of Detroit, were
week-end visitors with Mr, and Mrs.
