The sympathy of the community is,
extended to Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Gal-
braith whose infant son passed away
on Sunday night at the Wingliam Gen,
'oral Hospital. A private funeral set.,
vice was held on Tuesday,
Mrs. Jas. Armstrong and Miss Marie
O'Krafka, have both been suffering
from pleurisy but are making a good
recovery. •
Mrs. Ernie Brunskill
Word has been received by her sis-
ter, Airs. Luella Sanderson, that Bar-
bara Jane Gilmar, beloved wife of
Ernie Brunskill, had passed away in
Saskatoon on Wednesday morning,
Feb. 2nd., in her 56th year. She leaves
to mourn her passing besides her bus-
band, one. son, I-larry Brunskill of
Windsor, and one daughter (Gene)
Mrs. Severn of Saskatoon, also atie
grandson, A sister, Mrs. Edwin Ben-
nett of Wroxeter, Predeceased her in
july of last year. Surviving are five
sisters and two brothers: Mrs. Thos,
Sangster, Clifford; Mr. Robert Gil-
mar, Faucet, Alberta; Mr. Edwin !Gil.
mar, Carrick, Mrs. Luella Sanderson,
Gorrie and three sisters in Detroit.
She was laid to rest in Saskatoon
cemetery. Mrs. Brunskill was afformer
resident of Carrick Township, and will
be remembered by many in this com-
munity, Deepest sympathy is extended
to Mrs. Sanderson.

A wedding of interest to many in
this community was solemnized on
Jan. 29th, when Margaret Copeland
of Harriston, was united in marriage
to Thomas Jackson of Guelph. The
groom is the only son of Mr. and Mrs.
Arthur Jackson, (nee Mae Edgar) of
Fourth in the series of Progressive
'Etrchres sponsored by the L.O.L. was
bed last Friday evening. Mrs. L, N.
WMtcley and Miss Etta Burns tied
fitr the ladies high, and Billie Taylor

-were in play and after refreshments

day evening, Feb. 3rd. The meeting
opened with the "Purpose" immediate-
ly followed by work on the leather

Mrs. Hastie led in prayer after which
the President took charge of the bus-
iness, when a committee was appoint-
ed to plan for World Day of Prayer.
Mrs. Ruttan led in prayer. Hymn,
Creation's Lord we gave'Thee Thanks,

A fortner well loved rector of St.
Stephens church, Gorrie, also of Ford-
wich and Wroxeter Anglican churches
Rev. Thos. Farr passed away on
Monday in Stratford, where he has
made his home with his son, Rev.
Morris Farr since 1943. He was in
his 91st. year. He had served in the
parishes of Atwood, Wallaceburg,
Gorrie, Blyth, Kincardine and St.
Johns, church London township. Born
near Durham, his wife who predeceas-
ed him in 1938, was the former Han.
nah Hughes of Durham. Surviving are
two sons, Rev. B. H. Farr, Goderich
and Rev. Morris Farr, Stratford, and
one daughter, Miss Margaret of Wind-
sor. Mr. Farr was ordained in 1898
and served in this parish from 1905 to
1911.
