years ago, February 3rd, 1944,
One precious to our hearts has gone,
The voice we heard is. stilled,
The place made vacant in our home,

We miss her, when we need a friend,•
On her we always could depend,
She cheered our life, and soothed our
pain,
God grant someday we'll meet
again.
