moved into their new home.
On Wednesday about midnight a
driving shed. on the farm belonging to
Mr, Chas, Lambkin, 2 miles south of
Fordwich was destroyed by fire of un-
known origin, Contents of the shed
were removed and adjacent buildings
saved by efforts of neighbours.
Mr. Paul Preiss, 1(ith con,, has sold
the farm adjoining the one on which
he resides to Herbert Burchill of Cul-
ross, who will move to it in the spring.

Harold Bradnock
Word was received here on Thurs-
day that Mr. Harold Bradnock had
passed away suddenly in Eureka, Cal.
Harold was the only child of Mr. Thos
Bradnock and the late Sarah Earngey.
He was born in Gorrie 48 years ago,
receiving his education at the Gorrie
Public School and Wroxeter Continua.

Young People's Union
The Y. P. U. of the United Church
held a social on Friday evening in the
school rooms of the°church. Mr. Dave
Neilson, Christian Culture Convener,
was in charge of the meeting and op-
ened with the call to worship follow-
ed b ythe singing of "0 Little Town
of Bethlehem", this was followed by
prayer. The carol "Silent Night" was
then sung. Campbell Brown then took
charge and games were played. Lunch
was served and everyone had a most
enjoyable evening. The meeting this
week will be held at the home of Miss
Anna Toner on Friday evening.
