Wilford King, only son of Mr. and
Mrs. W. C. King of Gorrie. Re v. T.
Hutton of Ivlolesworth Presbyterian
Church, officiated. Miss Agnes Wear-
ring of Wroxeter, played the wedding
music and Miss Estelle Cunnin gham
of Ethel, sang, "I'll Walk Beside Yoe
The bride, given in marriage by
her father, was gowned in ivory satin
with nylon yoke embroidered in seed
pearls and fashioned with long lily
point sleeves. She wore a fin ger tip veil
and carried a cascade of American
beauty roses and fern. Her gift front
the groom was a double strand of
pearls. Her bridesmaid, Miss Margaret
Wearring of Wroxeter, was frocked in
orchid flowered marquisette, witli head
dress of orchids and carrying a sheaf
of yellow gladioli. Rosemary, sister of
the bride, was flower girl, wearing
a dusty pink floor length dress with
inserted drape of cream lace frills.
Her headdress was a band of pink
rosebuds and her flowers a nosegay
of pink roses,
Mr. Norman Carson of Gorrie, was
groomsman.
At the reception for ninety guests
following the ceremony, the bride's
mother received wearing a dress of
loganberry wine with navy accessories
and a corsage of yellow roses. The
groom's mother assisted in grey crepe
with black accessories and gold trim
and a corsage of pink roses.
Presiding at the tea table which was
,centred with a four-tier cake and
candelabra, were Mrs. Murray Edgar
and Mrs. Time. McDonald, aunts of
the bride and groom.

For a wedding trip to Nia gara
Falls, Hamilton, Detroit and Toronto,
the bride wore a suit of navy tricotine
with navy and white accessories and
corsa ge of yellow roses. On their re-
turn they will reside on the groom's
farm, south east of Gorrie.
Guests were present from Colorada,
Detroit, Toronto, Hamilton, Fort Wil-
liam, Blenheim, Listoivel, Wingham,
Brussels, Wroxeter, Jamestown and
Gorrie.

Mrs, Jack Webster, Toronto, spent
a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Melvin
Taylor, Mr, Oliver Turnbull, Brus-
sels, and Mr. Jim Turnbull, Peter-
borough, were also visitors at the same

-Kay VanCamp, Dorothy Cook,Mart-
lyn Gall and David Hanna, This will
make a total of forty-eight pupils.
United Church S. S. Picnic
The United Church ,Sunday School
Picnic was held last Thursday at Sea-
forth Lions Park, The children eit-
joyed the swings and swimmin g pool.
A prog ram of xace and sports follow-
ed, with Earl Anderson and George
Michie in charge.
The 28th annual Belgrave School
Fair will be held on Wedutsday, Sept.
15th with twenty-two schools com-
peting.
MrS, Stanley Halliday, Marjorie and
Getty, 'of London, have returned to
their borne after spending the holidays
with Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Brydges.
Mr. and Mrs, Dan 1-Iallalian and fa-
mily spent the holiday week-end at
Wasaga Bench and Midland.
Mrs. jorn Cadweil of Winnipeg, has
returned to her home after visiting
