were visitors for the past week at the
home of Mrs. 3, E. Bond, Minnie St,
Mrs, (Rev,) B, M. Loney and son,
James, returned to Toronto on Tiles-
day after being the guests of Air, and
Mrs. Walter Pocock for a few days.
Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Carmichael,
Patsy and Peter, and Mr. and Mrs,.
Frank. Hopper spent a few days m
Detroit with Mr. and Mrs. Van Hopp-
er.
Guests of Mrs. Wm. Williamson,
Bristol Terrace, were Mrs, J. Arnott
and daughter Helen of Ingersol and
Mr, and Mrs. Neil Williamson, Sault
Ste. Marie,
Misses Nellie' Hutchison and Meta
McLaughlin, of Toronto, and Miss Ev-
elyn Carberry, of Ottawa, spent the
week-end at the home of Mr. and Mrs.
N, T. McLaughlin.

children motored to Gravenhurst for
the week-end. They were accompani-
ed by Alan Brackley who has spent
the past three weeks here.
Miss Mildred Redmond of the On-
tario Hydro Staff News, Toronto,
spent the long week-end at the paren-
tal home here. She was accompanied
by Miss Jean MacDonald of Prince
Edward Island who is also employed
on The Hydro News.
OBITUARY
Adam A. Reid
The death of Adam A. Reid, busi-
ness man and resident .of the Town
of Waterous, Sask.; for 38 years, oc-
curred at the Union Hospital, on
Thursday evening, Sept. 2nd. Suffer-
ing from a heart ailment, he had not
enjoyed good health for three years,
although he was able to go about until
late in August.
The funeral service was conducted
by Rev. R. R. \V. McGregor at .Wat
