Mr, Robert Kelsey passed away in
the Walkerton Hospital on Tuesday,
June 1st. Mr, Kelsey owned the farm
now owned by Mr. Harry Goll, Mr.
Kelsey is survived by one son, Harp-
er, of Clifford.
Mrs. A. M. Perdue is a patient in
the Wingham General Hospital, where
she underwent a major operation on
Monday morning.
Mr. Robert Procter visited in Tor-
onto.
Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Armstrong and
child;en of Thorndale, spent the week-
end with their parents. Mrs. Arm-
strong returned• with them for a few
days.
Mr. and Mrs, Chas. Stenick of

Whitechurch, is being presented in
the Forrester's Hall Wednesday night,
sponsored by the Federation of Agri-
culture of East Wawanosh.

guests at the Wallace-Scotchmer wed-

Mrs. Burns Moffatt presided at the .
2nd. quarterly meeting of the Ladies
Aid Society of the Presbyterian
Church. Mrs. Walter Smillie gave the
report of the activities of the Morris
Group and the financial statement and
announced that the group would spon- •
soy the play, " The Dutch Detective"
here next week. Mrs. Harry Elliott
gave an outline of the work being done
by the Triple Group, The question of
interior Church decoration was the
chief subject for discussion. Mrs, E.
Nichol, Mrs. W. H. McKinley and
Mrs, Gordon Mundell were named a
committee to investigate the cost. Mrs.
E. Nichol was elected treasurer.
United Church Women's Meetings
Mrs. George. Hetherington opened
her home this week for the Women's
meetings of the United Church. Mrs.
S. Darling conducted the W. A.
meeting. The scripture lesson was
read by Mrs. W. J, Johnston' and
Mrs. 'George Fell led in prayer. Dur-
ing the business session arrangements
were made for the garden party to be
held on June 25th, and the presenta-
tion of the play at Delmore this week.
The vice-president, Mrs. James
Johnston, presided at the W.M.S.
meeting of the United Church this
week and was assisted by Mrs. W. 5,
Peacock, The main item on the pro-
gramme was a summary of Student
Mission Fields and Vacation Schools
in the West.
At the close of the meetings the
hostess served lunch and was assisted
by Mrs. Edward Johnston and Mrs.
George Thomson.
Mr. and Mrs, Edward Johnston and
family attended- the auction sale of
Mrs. Johnston's brother, Mr. Harvey
Spading at Gorrie last Friday.
Mrs. L, H. Bosnian and Mrs. Robert
McGuire of Wingham, are spending at
few days with Mr. Henry Bosnian at
Browntown.
Mrs, Mary Robertson has returned
home after spending two weeks with
her sisters, Mrs. Nicholson and Mrs.
J. A. Geddes at Belgrave.
Mrs. Donald Street, Kitchener spent
the week-end with her mother, Mrs.
