Hetherington opened her home this week for the Women's meetings of the United Church. Mrs. S. Darling conducted the W. A. meeting. The scripture lesson was read by Mrs. W. J, Johnston' and Mrs. 'George Fell led in prayer. Dur- ing the business session arrangements were made for the garden party to be held on June 25th, and the presenta- tion of the play at Delmore this week. The vice-president, Mrs. James Johnston, presided at the W.M.S. meeting of the United Church this week and was assisted by Mrs. W. 5, Peacock, The main item on the pro- gramme was a summary of Student Mission Fields and Vacation Schools in the West. At the close of the meetings the hostess served lunch and was assisted by Mrs. Edward Johnston and Mrs. George Thomson.
