born on Lot 35, Con, 2, Grey on Sept,
5th, 1905, and had lived there until
five months ago, when owing_ to ill-
ness he moved into Listowel,
On October 14th, 1831, he was unit-
ed in marriage With Lirla Spading of
Gorrie, who with one sister, Mrs. Geo,
Hutchinson of Grey, mourn their loss.
He had a cheery disposition and was
loved by all who knew him. His illness
of a year, most of which was spent in
bed, was borne with Christian forti-
tude, his thoughts being always of
those who were with him, not of him-
self,
He was a member of St, Andrew's
Presbyterian Church, Molesworth. The
funeral service was held on Sunday,
May 9th, from his late residence in
Grey and was conducted by Rev, Mr,
Hutton, Molesworth,( assisted by Rev,
Mr. Kelly of Knox Presbyterian
Church, Listowel. During the service,
Mr, Watson Brown sang, "Does Jesus
Care."
Pallbearers were six neighbours:
Alex. MacDonald, Clifford McAllister,
Howard Savage, Dave McLennan,
Fred and Ben Hayden,
Flowerbears were: jack McCutch-
eon, Watson Brown, Tom MacDonald,
Glen Fraser, Ned Thompson, Selah
