He had a cheery disposition and was loved by all who knew him. His illness of a year, most of which was spent in bed, was borne with Christian forti- tude, his thoughts being always of those who were with him, not of him- self, He was a member of St, Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Molesworth. The funeral service was held on Sunday, May 9th, from his late residence in Grey and was conducted by Rev, Mr, Hutton, Molesworth,( assisted by Rev, Mr. Kelly of Knox Presbyterian Church, Listowel. During the service, Mr, Watson Brown sang, "Does Jesus Care." Pallbearers were six neighbours: Alex. MacDonald, Clifford McAllister, Howard Savage, Dave McLennan, Fred and Ben Hayden, Flowerbears were: jack McCutch- eon, Watson Brown, Tom MacDonald, Glen Fraser, Ned Thompson, Selah THE Salvation Army Capt. and Mrs. C. Goodwin SUNDAY--11 a.m. and 7 pan. Sunday School, 2;30 p,m. TUESDAY- 2;30 p.m.-Home League 8 p.m.-Youth Group THURSDAY- 8 P.m.-Prayer Meeting Breckenridge, Stewart Turner and Ar- chie Smith. After an illness of one week, Mr. Requiem High Mass was sting in John Lockridge, )vell,known Wingham Sacred Heart Church, on Tuesday, resident, died in Wingham General May 18th, at 9 a.nt, with Rev. Fr. F. J. Hospital, on Saturday, May 15th, in Brickliit in charge. his 76th year. Interment was made in the Roman Born in East Wawanosh, and later Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Coining to Wingltarit, he was married. Joint McKinnon ' John Charles Sproal, fifty-ohe years ago to Mary A. Her- George Haller, Fred Puller, Harry gott, who sittvives. Mr. Wm. Porterfield, of Calgary, Alta., is visiting his sister-in-law, Mrs. Alex. Porterfield on Leopold Street, Mr, George Copeland, of Western University, London, visited over the week-end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs, E, S. Copeland. Mr, Jack Dodds, Gorrie, who has been attending Canada Business Col- lege, Toronto, has accepted a position in the office of the International Har- vester Co., of that city. Dr, and Mrs. E, C.
