As it may not be possible for me to see you
all personally before Monday, June 7th, I take this
means of requesting your support during this Pro-
vincial election campaign.
For the ever-increasing measure of confi-
dence you have placed in me, I am most sincerely
grateful. In again appealing for your support, 1
can only promise to continue to serve you individ-
ually and collectively, regardless of your political
affiliations.
As your Member of the Ontario Legislature
for the past five years, I found it took some consid-
erable time to acquaint myself with the different
departments in the Ontario Legislature, such as:-
Agriculture Municipal Affairs
Education Planning & Development
Health Public Welfare
Highways Public Works
Hydro Travel & Publicity
Labor and many others.
Lands S.: Forests
To the people of this Constituency who sup-
ported me in the past, I would like to mention, at
this tine, a few of the important progressive
achievements which have taken place in the Riding
of Huron-Bruce, which I believe have beneiitted all
of you — such as:-
Highway No. 4 through \\Ingham, T
water and to Durham Highway.
Highways Nos. t:6 & ough \\Ingham ,
Bluevale and Wroxeter.
Highway No. thratugh Amberley, Loch-
aish and Lucknow.
The completion of the Bluewater Highway
from Port Albert through Amberley to Kincardine.
Assistance given by Ontario Government to
the new wing of the Wingham General Hospital; ..
Assistance given by the Ontario Government to
Community Centres 'of Mildmay, Reids' Corners,
Formosa, Whitechurch, Fordwich, and others pen-
ding.
Rural Hydro programmes for many farms
and villages, schools and Churches, which are being
completed as quickly as possible, to make life more
convenient for the farmer and housewife in all rural
communities. Thirty gangs are operating through-
out the Province of Ontario, with Rural Offices in
main centres throughout this Riding.

In the five years facing us, this Province, and
the farmers of this Province will enjoy new items of
farm machinery, electrical appliances and ideas,
which will make life more pleasant. It will be a
forward step to vote for John Hanna, on June 7th,
who has also represented the Town of Wing, ham as
Mayor for five years, and who considers it his first
duty to serve his constituents, regardless of politi-
cal affiliations.
Other important matters in which I am in-
terested, are the building of more houses for a fast-
growing Ontario; reforestation for Huron-Bruce
Fish and Game for the Tourists and Sportsmen.
I would also like to go on record as beillg
opposed to Communism or anY other "isms" which
might hamper the future of the younger generation.
Premier Drew is asking the people for a fur-
ther tenure of office to enable him to continue his
Government's record of achievement, that will
bring greater prosperity to all sections of the Pro-
vince.
I respectfully suggest that both for perform-
ance and promise, the Drew Administration deser-
ves your endorsation. Please vote and vote early.
Yours faithfully,
JOHN W. HANNA
