Funeral. Home, .and will be conducted
by Rev, A, Nitiuno, of St, Andrew's
Presbyterian Church, of which she was
a member. Interment in Wingham
cemetery,
'fames of London, and ono brother,
William of Belgrave, There are six
grandchildren. ,One son, Harvey pre-
deceased him.
Funeral services were held on Sun-
day at 2.30 p.m„ with Rev, W, S.
Sutherland of Whitechurch, officiat-
ing. Interment was made in Langside
cemetery.
The floral tributes were many and
beautiful, Pallbearers were his four
sons, David, Gordon, William and
George, and two nephews, Walter and
Borden Scott of Belgrave.

Miss Charlotte Ward
There passed away in Wingham
General Hospital, on Sunday, March
28th, Charlotte Ward, in her '75th
year. She had been in ailing health for
some time. Born in Morris Township,
the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs,
John Ward, she moved to Wingham
.about 47 years ago, where she had
since resided. Surviving are two bro-
thers, David of Kansas, and James of
Philadelphia. The service is being held

her. She lived her entire life in and
around Beigrave. Her passing marks
the last of the family.
She was a faithful member of the
Presbyterian Church, Beigrave.
Surviving are two sons and two
daughters, Norman of Toronto, Cam-
eron, Chatham, Mrs. Joe Little (Jean),
of Seaforth, and Anne Geddes of
Wingham.
Funeral services were held on Mon-
day, March 29th, at 2.30 p.m., from
Currie's Funeral Home, with Rev.
Geo. Milne of Brussels, officiating.
Interment was made in Brandon
cemetery, Belgrave. Pallbearers were:
Jos. Miller, Jas. Leitch, Clarence
Wade, Athol Bruce, Jas. Anderson of
Beigrave and Ernest Geddes of Sea-
forth.

Walter J. Scott
A resident of high esteem passed
away in Wingham General Hospital,
on Thursday last, in the person of
Walter J. Scott. Mr. Scott was born
at Belgrave, '79 years ago, the son of
the late Walter Scott, Belgrave, Some
60 years ago he moved to Langside,
where he has since resided. His wife,
the former Alice Dorothea Wraith,
predeceased him six years ago. Mr.
Scott was a blacksmith by trade, also
a successful farmer. He was a Irian of
kindly manner and always willing to
lend a hand in time of need. He was
a Presbyterian by faith.
He is survived by six. sons, White-
field of Larder Lake, Gordon of Rip-
ley; David of Geraldton; George H, of
Wingham, William of Langside, and
