two special anthems, "Rejoice" and
"Nailed to the Cross". Sunday evening
A special service was held. The choir
sang two numbers, "0 Joyful Day",
and "The Easter Chorus". The Child-
ren's Exercise, "He Is Risen" and
Song, "'Tis Easter Time", A Drama,
"At the Foot of Jesus" with the mus-
ical portion by the choir, "Jesus
Christ is Risen,"
Presbyterian Church
Easter was observed in the Pres-
byterian Church with a special Easter
message deliveied by the minister,
Rev. George Milne of Brussels, Easter
hymns were used.
Trousseau Tea
A trousseau tea was held at the
home of Mr, Harry McClenaghan in
honour of his daughter, Edith, on
Wednesday evening, March 24th,
The living room was effectively de-
corated with pink and white streamers
and daffodils. Mrs. William Kelly and
Mrs. Herbert Laidlaw poured tea, as-
sisted by Misses Annie Cook and Lois
Kelly. The trousseau was displayed
by Misses Muriel Watt and Elaine
Walsh.
Mrs. W. J. Watt of Whitechurch,
Mrs. Coulter of Wingham, and Mrs.
Grainger, aunt of the groom of Bruce-
field, assisted the bride-elect in re-
ceiving the guests.

wood work of ten schools in East Wa-
wonosh School Area. Estimates may
be given with material supplied or for
labor only. All old loose paint to be
removed by wire brush before apply-

Large Crowd At Dance
The Easter Holiday Euchre and
Dance attracted a large crowd, Don
Robertson and his Ranch Boys sup-
plied the music for dancing. Fourteen
tables played progressive euchre with
the prizes being won by Mrs. George
Martin and Mr. Les. Bolt, Consolation
awards went to Miss Barbara Michie
and George Mason.

their final meeting of the season on
Wednesday evening, March 24th, at
the home of Mr. Ivan Wightman,

songs, instrumentals, readings and

Ledger" which was prepared and pre-
