dear husband, Alonzo Spatting, who
tittered his Ilcavolly Home, on

I seem to see in a soft dim light
A face I loved the best,
And think of him when the sun's ins
ray,
Goes down in the far-off west.
I miss you no less, as the time passes
on,
Than I did On the day of your going
For absence can never dose the door
of my heart,
And the lamp of my love is still glow-
ing.
Your heart was the truest in all the
wide world,
Your love, the best to recall
For no One do earth could take yo
place,
You are still the dearest of tit
