Minor Local's.--C. Lloyd & Son's
door factory resumed operations on
Tuesday morning, and it is expected
that the chair factory and union fac-
tory will commence running in a few
days. Mr. W. A. Sanderson. did excel-
lent work during the past few stormy
days in keeping the walks pretty free
of snow.
Fitch-Willits—A quiet wedding took
place at the home of Mr. and Mrs.
John Willits, on Wednesday, of last
-week, when their daughter, Miss Char-
lotte, was married to Mr. John Fitch,
of Howick.

TWENTY-FIVE YEARS AGO
Local and General—Two rinks of
Wingham, Curlers .are taking in the
bonspiel in. St. Thomas this week. A
M. Crawford has his famous quartette
composed of J. A. Currie, Wm. Mit-
chell, D. Fortune and himself, and Jas.
Murray, Ed. Small, Donald Rae and
Eldon Peterman comprise the second
rink. If any of the Scotch Curlers could
be more Scotch than these two rinks
we would like to see them curling,
Bluevale—Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Leg-
gatee spent Sunday in Teeswater.
Mr. John McLaren has leased Mr. Geo.
Mowbray's house and moved his family
here from Wingham. Mr. Eldon Mc-
Kinney left on Tuesday for a couple of
weeks' holidays at Toronto, Montreal
and Ottawa.'Miss Cora Hyles and Mr.
Harold McClathey of Stratford, spent
the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. H.
Hammond.
East Wawanosh—Mrs. Joe Thomp-
son and baby, Alice, of Seaforth, arc
spending a week with her parents, Mr.
and. Mrs. Thos, Robinson. Mr. and
Mrs. IGeo. Walker spent Sunday with
her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Humphrey
of St. Helens. Mr. and Mrs. Jack
Coultes of Morris, spent Sunday with
her father, Mr. Thos. Leaver.
Whitechurch—Mr, and Mrs. John
MoWbray visited on Tuesday with their
daughter, Mrs. Wesley Lcggatt of
Bluevale. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Mc,Clena-
ghan and children spent Saturday with
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Dobie of Wing-
ham, Mr. and Mrs. John Crow from
the West, visited last week with Mr.

With the Curlers—Two Wingham
rinks went to Gorric on Tuesday after-
noon and played two games with rinks
in that place. One rink composed of H.
Broadfoot, D. T. Hepburn, A. M.
Crawford and F. Paterson (skipl, won
both games with scores of 14 to 3 and
14 to 13. The other rink composed of
Geo. C. Manners, Dudley Holmes, C.
N. Griffin and A. J. Alderson (skip)
dropped both games to Gorric with
scores of 10 to 8 and 13 to 12.
Twenty Years Ago—The Wingham
woollen mills, which have been under-
going some repairs since holidays, re-
open on Monday. The following team
of Wingham curlers went .to Hensall
for a friendly match on Tuesday and
lost by 5 shots: John Inglis, John Han-
na, R. Paulin, and S. Kent on one rink,
and C, E. Williams, John Coad, John
Neelands and John Dinsley on the oth-
er rink.
