• THE TRUE MEANING
OF CHRISTMAS
By Michael Jeffery
Grade 5
Usborne Central
Two people were walking.
Really Mary was riding on a
donkey. Joseph was her
husband. They were ex-
pecting a baby. They rode
along. They asked different
inns if they had enough room
for them. The innkeeper
said, "No." They asked at
one more inn. They said they
didn't have any places to
stay. All they said they had
was a stable. Mary and
Joseph decided to take the
stable.
Some angels went to tell
THERE WAS AN OLD MAN

He was such a busy old soul
He came out one night
In a terrible fright
For his gifts and his deer

some shepherds that a baby
was going to be brn. At the
stable a baby was born. He
was called Jesus.
Wise Men heard about the
baby and saw the Star. They
asked different inns. All the
innkeepers said there was no
baby in the inns. Finally they
found Jesus. The Wise Men
brought myrrh and per-
fumes. It was a real
Christmas.
A CHRISTMAS COMIC
By Terry Glanville

Christmas time is very nice
even if you avoid the price
Things go good and things go
bad but
what ever way they go be
sure not
to get mad.
Christmas time is time to eat
so hold your breath and wait
for the meat
and if the meat doesn't come
go to the store and buy some
And if the store don't have no
more
This Christmas is going to
be a very hard chore:
My dog want's wooly 11
slippers
and my cat want's some
flippers a, • n T and I want a toe clipper!
And when the day is done
I'll have some fun
under the sun!

Jesus was born on Christmas

The wisemen were smiling
