A presentation on the "Nativity" was given by the Sunday School pupils of Mrs. Leroy Bryan and Mrs. Gary Humphrey's class. The following children took part. Women's institute news The President, Mrs. Hamilton Hodgins was the hostess for the December meeting of the Granton W I on Tuesday evening, A pot luck Christmas supper preceeded the meeting. Roll call was answered by a Christmas meeting. During the business period, money was voted to the Granton 4-H Club, the 1981 course is going to be "Which came first the chicken or the egg". Several items of business were discussed and taken care of. Wilfred Riddell was the Institute's choice for the Farmer of the Year contest. The members spent the remainder of the evening filling Christmas card houses (which they had made at home) with a variety of home-made cookies for shut-ins and people from the community who were in nursing homes. Each member brought a gift for a boy or a girl at the War Memorial Children's Hospital in London.
