everyone to the annual Sun-
day School Christmas Con-
cert o'n Saturday evening. A
play "A' Christmas Carol"
was well acted by members
of the Sunday School, Pastor
Ross tiargreaVes spoke a
few words.
Mrs. Rick Parker led in
Christmas Carol singing
with Miss Agnes Bray at the
piano. Santa Claus arrived
and gifts were given out to
bring an enjoyable evening
to a close.
Church service
During the regular church
service on Sunday morning
the baptist-11 of Jonathan
Paul Jeffery infant son of
Mr. and Mrs. Barry Jeffery
took place,
The choir rendered two
anthems, The sermon "His
Name is Wonderful, Coun-
cillor, Prince e' Peace" was
given by tl Pastor Ross
Hargreaves.
Christmas Eve Church
Service with Communion
Will be held Wednesday
evening at 8 p.m. Elimville
people are invited to attend

New Year's party at Thames
Road Church at 7 p.m. Pot
luck supper with beverage

their meeting in the chnroh
basement Tuesday evening
with an attendance 025 with.
Group one in charge.
The meeting was opened
with a poem "Joys of
Christmas" read by
president, Mrs. Lloyd
Jaques. Treasurer, Mrs.
Nelson Baker gave her
report which was favourable
and other business was
discussed, Donations were
brought in for the Christmas
boxes.
The worship service was
led by Mrs, Osear Brine
opening with three Christ-
mas carols.
Scriptures and
readings were given by Mrs.
Gordon Johnson and Mrs,
Reg McCurdy. Meditation
was given by Mrs, Brine.
Mrs. Brine then conducted
a game that involved each
one present "do something
for someone next year".
Mrs. Nelson Baker called
Rev. Canaille LaRouche and
Mrs. Lila Morphy, two
members leaving the
community to come forward
and asked each to accept a
gift from the Both
ladies graciously thanked
the U.C.W.
