The only goal of the middle frame was fired by Jeff O'Brien of the Buckeyes on a three-way effort with Ron Rader and Greg Kirk. It came on a power play as Lite Gagnon counted on' passes. from Ken Bergman and Brad Daters while Greg Kirk of the Buckeyes was off- for tripping. The second and final Exeter score with only 47 seconds left was also the result of a power play. Ken Bergman was the marksman and assists were credited to Brion Penhale and. Jim Guenther, Each team was assessed six minor penalties by referees Wayne Corbett and Brian Campbell Both Exeter goals came on polfCrer plays while Zurich'scores by Jim Murray and Randy McKinnon came with the Mohawks playing a rim short. In Forest Sunday, the first period was scoreless. The Boyds scored two goals in the first two minutes of the second period and then the Mohawks scored three times before the period ended. The Mohawks scored the first goal of the third period to go ahead 4-2 and then the roof fell in as the Boyds scored five times to win. Brion • Penhale, Tom.
